Your Privacy
Short version: We don't save your answers. Ever.
Cobijo Health is a free tool that helps you find out if you may qualify for hospital charity care, and creates a request letter you can use. We built it to protect your privacy.
What you enter
To give you a result, we ask for your hospital, your income, your household size, whether you have insurance, and whether a bill is in collections.
What we do with it
We use your answers only to calculate your result and letter, right then, in the moment. As soon as we show you the result, your answers are gone.
What we DON'T do
- We don't save your answers in any database.
- We don't create an account or ask for your name.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your answers with anyone.
- We will never share what you enter with your hospital, the government, or immigration.
About the hospital and HIPAA
Cobijo Health is not a doctor, hospital, or insurance company. That means HIPAA — the medical privacy law — does not apply to this tool. We protect you a different, stronger way: by not storing your answers at all.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to count how many people visit our pages. It uses no cookies and collects no personal information. It cannot see your form answers.
Other services
Our website is delivered through standard hosting and security services (such as Cloudflare). These help the site load safely. They do not receive your form answers.

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date below.
